How SeekMoonDrift earns money, and what it means for you.
The short version: some links on this website are affiliate links. If you book or buy through them, we may earn a commission from the travel provider — at no additional cost to you. You pay exactly the same price as booking directly.
1. What affiliate links are
An affiliate link is a normal link to a travel provider (a hotel platform, airline, tour operator, eSIM provider and so on) that includes a tracking identifier. If you click it and complete a booking, the provider recognises that the visit came from SeekMoonDrift and pays us a small commission.
2. Which providers we work with
We may participate in affiliate programmes operated by travel booking platforms and service providers, which can include accommodation platforms, flight and rail booking services, tour and attraction marketplaces, airport transfer providers, eSIM vendors and travel insurance comparison services. The specific partners we use may change over time as programmes are added or discontinued.
3. What it costs you
Nothing. The commission is paid by the provider out of their own margin. The price you pay is identical whether you arrive at the provider through SeekMoonDrift or go to their website directly. In some cases our partners offer discounted rates that are not available elsewhere, but that is a benefit of the partnership rather than a cost.
4. How this affects our content
Affiliate commissions do not influence:
- Which destinations or cities we choose to cover;
- What we recommend, and what we advise against;
- How we describe a product, destination or experience;
- Which providers we link to — we choose established, reputable platforms that international travellers can realistically use.
We do not accept payment for positive reviews, and we do not publish sponsored articles presented as independent editorial content. Where a partnership is promotional in nature, we will say so clearly.
5. Our independence
SeekMoonDrift is an independent publisher. We are not a travel agency, we do not process bookings, and we do not handle payments, refunds or customer service for any travel product. All bookings are made directly between you and the provider, and are subject to that provider’s own terms and conditions.
6. Why we disclose this
Disclosure is required by advertising and consumer protection rules in a number of jurisdictions, including the United States (FTC), the United Kingdom and the European Union. More importantly, we think you should know how a website makes money before you decide how much to trust it.
